Citi Wireless — Attraction in Reading

Needed a new battery for my iPhone and couldn’t get an appointment at the Apple Store before we left for Europe. Took it to City Wireless, he said he replaced the battery with a generic battery because that is what he had on hand. Only took an hour and was only a hundred bucks. Unfortunately, the battery died 6 months later and phone went dead. When I took it to a phone store where we were I Central America, they removed the battery and showed me it was the original Apple battery, not a new replacement like he told me. Evidently he just gave the battery a boost which should have been a $25 charge, not the $100 he charged me. He lied to me and overcharged me. I no longer had my receipt so could not go back and demand my money back but I will never go there again.

In response to the owner’s reply, I do not believe his answer is truthful. Perhaps “boost” is not the correct terminology but I was told by two different experts there is a way to ‘jolt’ a battery into temporarily working better and that service usually costs about $25. You told me that you did not have an Apple battery and so you used a generic one, and that the battery power monitor would no longer function because of that and you were correct, it did not show how much charge was in the battery after you put that one in. The technicians who replaced the “new” battery told me it was the original battery that came with the phone. I took their word for it. And most importantly, the “new” battery you installed went completely dead after only 4 months. New batteries do not die in 4 months.

I was actually not going to go here to get my phone fixed due to the small amount of reviews, but Jay gave amazing and insanely fast service. I hadnt been there for more than 20 minutes to have my phone screen fixed. Their prices are also a lot of better than the other places I called in Reading and the screen replacement quality was great. I also loved that he helps you confirm that everything is working satisfactory before letting you leave the store. This place is reliable, honest, and good quality for cheap. I wont be going anywhere else to get my phone fixed now, and this is considering the fact that I live in Bethlehem. I will make the hour drive for this service :) Thanks...

Got my screen fixed here and found out it wasn't a real screen , it displayed in my settings saying Unknown IPhone Part . My screen would turn black out of nowhere sometimes I called them about it and they told me too hold volume up and power button witch I shouldn’t have too if it was a real iPhone screen . They charged me $100 for that .
