Wanted to walk around to try to get those 10k steps. I thought the trail went along the perimeter of the water… and it does, but only for a little part of it. The boardwalk ends and sends you to the woods where other connecting paths meet you to whisk you off to another part of town! It’s kind of neat, and recommend bringing a bike. If you don’t have a bike they have the rentals you can check out! To go the perimeter of the water you go through the neighborhoods and keep making hard left’s (if you went that way, right if you went there other way). It was a nice neighborhood walk, but i really wanted to see the water. There are only a few shops and restaurants… i wish there was more, but it’s nice. A nice lil nook of entertainment. Love Lake Anne located in Reston, VA. The location is beautiful and welcoming to all visitors. The Lake extends the length up to Lake Anne Plaza with beautiful property surrounding the local amenities that serve the Reston community. On my journey to Lake Anne, I wanted to film this location using an aerial drone to capture images and activities that can't be seen from the land.
