BLUF: It's what you do in the North Woods and Rhinelander ... You go see the Hodag. That said, it's the most photogenic and easily accessible Hodag spots in Rhinelander and by far the largest representation of the beast yet not as menacing as others so kid friendly. You gotta stop once if you're within a 30 minute drive IMHO.

Pros: easy access, parking, and photographs well.

Cons: it's just a statue and a visitors center while other Hodag sculptures are located in riverwalk parks and around...

We saw this roadside attraction on our way up to Manitowish Waters a few years ago and thought it was such a cute and fun stop. The Hodag store in town is definitely worth a stop as well.
