Great trail to walk! Both times I've been so far, there's barely been anyone on it. I started in the park and made my way down. I havent made it to the end yet, but it's definitely a good workout to get out. There's some pretty scenery along the way. As you get further down, you do hear the traffic on 309 heavily, but that's just a personal preference of mine to be away from that lol. I will visit this trail time and time again though. Be sure to go the bathroom beforehand if you plan on walking awhile. There also aren't any benches along the way. I don't mind this, but just in case anyone needs to sit periodically so you know! Plenty of parking at Veterans Park when the sports fields are not being used, parking can be a challenge when the fields are full. Still worth the hassle.
The trail is quite wide in most areas allowing for walkers and bikers in both directions to pass each other. Most of the trail is through wooded areas or stone walls on both sides, quite beautiful.
The fall is a pleasant time to experience the trail, the fall colors are at their peak colors.
