Great trail to walk! Both times I've been so far, there's barely been anyone on it. I started in the park and made my way down. I havent made it to the end yet, but it's definitely a good workout to get out. There's some pretty scenery along the way. As you get further down, you do hear the traffic on 309 heavily, but that's just a personal preference of mine to be away from that lol. I will visit this trail time and time again though. Be sure to go the bathroom beforehand if you plan on walking awhile. There also aren't any benches along the way. I don't mind this, but just in case anyone needs to sit periodically so you know! It's a flat walk with no incline, so...

Fantastic walking and biking trail that starts at Veterans Park in Quakertown (Richland Twp.) and continues through some beautiful areas until it reaches the Saucon Rail Trail in Coopersburg.

Plenty of parking at Veterans Park when the sports fields are not being used, parking can be a challenge when the fields are full. Still worth the hassle.

The trail is quite wide in most areas allowing for walkers and bikers in both directions to pass each other. Most of the trail is through wooded areas or stone walls on both sides, quite beautiful.

The fall is a pleasant time to experience the trail, the fall colors are at their peak colors.

Pleasant...

The best trail around. Easy to pickup at the back corner of veterans park and connects into the Saucony valley trail. Start to amend and back 22.54 miles. Great views, easy street crossings, gravel the whole way. Generally a flat/decline from veterans park to hellertown and a nice slow uphill on the eat back. One significant hill as you go into coopersburg (parallel to 309 and the hill into/out of coopersburg). Biking, walking,...

Nice trail, mostly shaded, which is nice. The south end trail starts at the veteran park which is really nice. There aren’t a lot of benches along the trail, except in veterans park. The north end starts at living memorial park which has shaded parking.

Great trail for biking. Level and smooth riding. Vassi's about 1/2 mile from trail end in Hellertown is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Excellent food and great prices! Worth the short ride.
