Windchaser Wine is a great place to spend an afternoon. They serve up beautiful and distinctly original wines in a comfortable and fun setting. Owner David is kind, funny, and provides great information on his wines and winemaking process. You can expect excellent, varied music on deck. We have been members for some time now and appreciate coming and relaxing for a tasting.

A really nice tasting room tucked just off the highway in Berkeley. I stopped by for a holiday work event and the place was nicely decorated for the season. I tried one red and one white while I was there. I found both the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to be very light and tasty in their own ways, and I would strongly recommend the Pinot Gris if you stop by.

Dave is a one man show quietly making wines in the alley way between 4th and 5th street off of Gilman. The tasting room is right in his cellar, where he'll pour you his wines surrounded by twinkle lights and stacks of barrels. If you're lucky, he'll have written a dad joke on the chalk wall for the weekend while he's playing his favorite records/cd's.
