Barracuda Bay Aquatic Complex — Attraction in Riviera Beach

The reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because Mr. Daniels ruined my whole prospective of this place. I booked a child’s birthday party weeks in advance only to be called the day before at 3pm ( the end of day) and told my sons party was cancelled, because the water pump to the kiddy pool was out in which I was furious about but took pretty well. I then decided to try and do a walk-in some where else but couldn’t because Mr. Daniels then told me my money could not be refunded for a whole 7-10 business days. Now if this were my fault I wouldn’t have had a problem waiting and Instead of accommodating a fully paid customers needs and trying not to disappoint a child Mr. Daniels proceeded to tell me that my ruined party wasn’t the fault of him or the barracuda bay employees and that he tried to contact me earlier but one of the employees entered my phone number in the system wrong. (Something else that wasn’t my fault) This situation had me in tears because I’m a single mom who not only works hard for her money but for my children. I in general do not like to disappoint people and to go home and try to explain this situation to my son was heart breaking for me. I feel that Mr. Daniels had no compassion, he was insensitive and didn’t do anything to try to help me or mend the situation. I will never book another party here nor spend any kind of money with this water...

My one and only problem with this place is that the hours of operation are all over the place. Closed on this day at this time but open on this day at a certain time but only on the third Saturday or second Wednesday or something else. It's very confusing as a father of 6 little ones who love the water to try and plan an outting based on this information. To me, and I could be wrong, but a water park in sunny south Florida should be open at least 8 months out of the year. This water pad or park, should be open every day for those 8 months except for bad weather. It's located in the middle of the city with many surrounding neighborhoods as well as being next to a middle and high school. The water park experience was fine but the concession stand assistant Alex D was terrible he was rude and changing prices between customers he knew and did not know and I had to wait 20 minutes for a flimsy cold French fry and small hot dog and he was just sitting on his phone and would just open the concession stand door when he felt like it so when customers would be in a line waiting, they would wait like they were on his time probably won’t go again, but watch...
