This was my third summer taking kayak instruction with Endless River Adventures, and once again, they exceeded expectations! Coming up from Florida, my brother and I often have a long break between whitewater paddling, but their guides consistently get us back in prime form. Ryland was our guide for the first two days, starting with a fantastic warm-up and skill-building session on the Tuckasegee River. Ryland had us perfectly prepped for our second day on the Nantahala, where we had an absolute blast, ending with running laps at the falls! Ryland really helped us level up our skills. Every instructor I've had at Endless River Adventures strikes the perfect balance of making it incredibly fun while also pushing you to try more challenging moves, which always leads to greater skill in the kayak. If you're looking to sharpen your whitewater kayaking skills or even try a hard boat for the first time, this is the best place around. Thanks Ryland for the great two days on the river 🤙
We wrapped up our weekend with a full Upper & Middle Ocoee guided raft trip. Neil guided us down, with Filipe as our safety boater in a kayak. We brought two friends, including one with his two teenage daughters who had never done whitewater before, and the team at Endless made it an exciting and awesome day of rafting for everyone. I highly recommend rafting with Endless River Adventures if you want a great time and a big water adventure!
Thanks to the entire staff at Endless River for always creating a great experience when I come...
Read moreMy recent outing with Endless River Adventures on Class III rapids was an absolute blast! This adventure offered the perfect balance of excitement and accessibility for both novice and experienced rafters.
The guides were not only experts at navigating the river but also fantastic at keeping the group entertained. They shared interesting facts about the area and wildlife, adding an educational element to the trip. Safety remained a top priority, and their instructions were clear and reassuring.
The Class III rapids provided an adrenaline rush while still allowing us to enjoy the scenic beauty of the riverbanks. The pace was just right for our group, making it a thrilling yet manageable experience. We had a great time paddling through the rapids and even had a chance to take a refreshing dip in calmer sections of the river.
The equipment provided by the company was in excellent condition, and the guides ensured that everyone was properly fitted with life vests and helmets. A riverside picnic lunch was a welcome break, and it was evident that the company took care to minimize its environmental impact.
In summary, Endless River Adventures delivered an exceptional Class III rafting adventure. If you're seeking a day of fun, adventure, and a memorable connection with nature, I highly recommend giving them a try. It's an ideal way to experience the thrill of white water rafting without the intimidation of more...
Read moreMy wife and I have now had 3 lessons/clinics with Endless River Adventures (ERA) and I can't tell you how happy I was with how they did their teaching especially the "challenge by choice". We had a Boat Rescue clinic with Juliet & Kate, Kayak Lesson with Brit, and a Directional Rolling clinic with Brit & Kate First comment is: YOU the paddler only get out of it what you put into it. When they say challenge by choice and you don't do the activity or at least try it then that decision is really on you and your comfort level. Speak out and tell them you are uncomfortable and they'll go back to the previous level. - The only consequence is a swim if you don't make it, and they are right on top of you if you do swim (trust me I know) Second comment: Without the lessons and the challenge by choice and that confidence they gave me I would not have been able to do the Nantahala Falls clinic and make some hard moves like ferrying across from Bus Stop to Truck stop and then back to Bus Stop. Last comment: When it clicks it clicks.. directional rolling for when you carp one side you're set up for the other side already. I didn't understand until they asked me to do a off side roll (50%) in current. Missed it but was already set up for my onside and landed it.. SUPER STOKED.. and when that adrenaline starts going when you land a move it's that rush people talk about. AWESOME...
