During Start of Summer Celebrations I mistakenly parked in the middle of their nearly empty parking lot as I ran across the street to pick up an order (no more than 15 minutes). When I returned, the owner angerly met me at my vehicle and began to berate me over and over. She repeatedly asked me, “who I thought I was for parking in her lot”, and told me that she was towing my vehicle. I profusely apologized and said it was my honest mistake. I explained that when I parked in the spot, there were 2 other vehicles parking next to me and walking across the street to Start of Summer celebrations. She continued to berate me, scold me and ask me who I thought I was for parking in her lot. I repeatedly apologized, meeting her anger with kindness. Again, I told her it was my mistake, and I am sorry to have caused her such upset. Sadly, I have spent a lot of money in that store, but never again. True colors were shown that afternoon, and I will never again patron a store who’s owner treats people with such contempt, anger...

Gather-d is my go to store for the perfect gift for any occasion. I found the cutest earrings and jewelry dish for a friends birthday. She loved them! There is always a friendly face to greet you as you walk through that cute red door. We have brought many friends to visit from out of town. They often comment on how reasonable the prices are and always leave with a treasure of their own. I always prefer to shop local and small and will do so any day at the cutest shop in Rockford.
