Highly recommended for beginners: I visit my friend in Melbourne on the weekends often and she told me about this ice skating rink that offers free beginners skating class on Saturdays for the little kids. The free skate session at 10:45 is thirty-minutes long. Pros: 1. I am glad I took my daughter her for the free session. It’s her first ice skating experience and the coaches taught her how to balance, how to stop, how to stand up when she falls. These basic skills are important and make me feel at ease before I take her to ice skating again during the public skate session from 12-3pm on Saturdays. 2. Friendly service 3. Skates for rentals are clean and decent 4. Plenty of snack options at the concession stand. Con: The restroom was not clean in case you are an OCD clean freak like me.

Standard small rink - good location on the Space Coast. Visited the Iceplex for the UCF v. UF club hockey game and had a good time. Watched some little shavers play/do skills work prior to the game. Standard rink, small area for getting skakes on. Small snack bar and 'adult' bar. Looks like they have a nice work out facility and advertise organized training sessions. Bleachers above the rink level are adequate for most league play, but were completely inadequate for the crowd for the UCF/UF game. Luckily the Fire Marshal didn't show up - I'd guess we were over the limit was it was standing room only and people sitting in all the stair ways. Recommend to UF Alumni Club to sell less tickets next year.

I cannot rave enough about the coaches, amazing employees, other students and everything about SCI. I began adult classes a bit over a month ago; the director Natalia met me before my first class; she was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable. The staff was amazingly helpful getting me checked in and my coach Josh is just the best. He recommended skates for me, always has a positive attitude and creates a fun and motivating class. Public skate is always great, and Rog is so friendly and awesome as well. Shout out to Jeremy and Brigette who inspire me daily and Saskia ❤️

RIP off. Caused injuries. Snuck in charges. Different info from each person I spoke to. So I rented a party room for my daughters birthday. I made the reservation 2 months in advance. I went in twice and called at least once a week. I tried to confirm prices and times everytime. It was $180 for the room. Including one pizza unlimited drinks, 10 free skate passes with skate rental from 12:45-3pm, and a discount for any of my guests go skate at $10.25 instead of $13.50. I confirmed 2 days before the party that I wanted 4 pepperoni pizzas. The day of I got 4 cheese pizzas. They offered to not charge me for the pizzas if I kept them or they would order the pepperoni pizzas right then. I said please hurry and order them I only have the room for one hour. The pizzas arrived 18 minutes before my time was up. Dust was falling from the ceiling the whole time on the plates, food, and drinks. (The kids were playing with balloons but still it hasn't been cleaned in a long time) Chairs were stacked in the corner. As I unstacked them they were in horrible condition chipped and unattractive. I was told that there was a t.v. in the room to play a slideshow or music. Come to find out it's only for apple phones which I do no have. Every guest that paid to skate never received my discount I told them about. Which was the reason they brought extra family members that day. So I looked like a liar and cost each guest an extra $3 per person. I asked them why my guests were not getting my discount he said he didn't know there was a discount but he would call his boss get back to me and if he could he would refund the $3 to each person. He didn't ever get back to me. After the party I asked him what his boss said. He said to receive the discount the guest would have to add it to my tab with me present to receive the discount. Meanwhile I was with my guest when I asked about the discount that he knew nothing about. So all my guests left at this point nobody receiving a discount. Then the bill has charged me for 5 walkers. Because they asked me when I booked the room how many should we set aside for your party in case anyone wants to rent one? They offered 10. I said ok that sounds good. Before the party they put 5 in my room. During the party some of the guests in my party asked for walkers and received them so I got charged for all the ones used. So they can add walkers to my tab without me present but not get the discount advertised with me present and asking for it. (Walkers are $3 each) I didn't receive any kind of discount for the pizza being ordered incorrectly or being brought in until 18 before the end of my party. I never recieved an apology for the confusion over the discount or any refunds to any one of my guests. I was left to apologize to my friends and family for the tricks played on me. I asked for certain skates for my kids for better ankle protection and was told they only have one decent skate in that size. So my daughter stopped skating after an hour crying and in pain. And almost a week later still has skin missing and she was wearing thick high socks. She actually had an indent of the inside of the skate on her cut for 2 days. Picture included. One good thing I can say is that since there wasn't a party after mine they let me leave my things in the room and locked it while we skated. And if any of us needed in the room they were more then happy to walk over and unlock it for us. I feel like with more training this could be a better turn out for some little girls party...

Really wish they would NOT host parties…absolutely not equipped to make a memorable experience…I cherish my children’s birthday celebrations and this just broke my heart today…it was unorganized and certainly not prepared to host a celebration …I felt confused when arriving…ran back and forth figuring out how to get skates for the party…no paper work was ever presented to the front of the house …the party coordinator was running the BUSY concession stand in addition to hosting our event … I happily helped by cleaning the party room from the previous party but when the pizza never arrived 3 hrs into the party and my husband had to go pick up the delivery himself to speed it up I was devastated …parents entrust you will provide a nice experience, NEVER again! Not only were the restrooms moldy…the party room was hot, dirty, and the entire establishment needs MAJOR improvements! I was extremely happy with the staff…they were sweet, understanding, and were as accommodating as they could be under the conditions…it was surprising to me that these young ladies would even work under such insubstantial management…they certainly were NOT surprised by our complaints but could only do so much 😞I did appreciate them and their consideration to what appeared to be a very usual occurrence ! I instantly called the management number provided but it went to a voicemail that was FULL…not surprised😩 other than the few smiley faced employees who obviously deal with unhappy parents often…I WOULD NOT recommend this place for anything other than free skate...

BEWARE: The current owners of this business (circa 2025) will continually charge your credit card illegally once they are given access to this information for payments. DO NOT give them your information, otherwise you will then need to contact your credit card company and the Better Business Bureau to deal with their illegal and unethical scams, which include nonstop charges for so-called 'lessons', even if you have completed the onerous paperwork to discontinue classes. Sadly, we have found that we are far from the only customers to have been mistreated and lied to by these people, as the owners have proved to be both greedy for every cent they can suck out of unsuspecting customers as well as lacking any semblance of ethics whatsoever.

The actual employees and coaches are generally decent and hard working (but will confide that they are miserable there currently due to the exploitive soulless owners and their vile treatment of both staff and customers) but on top of the illegal billing activity the ice is usually melting, cracked and poorly maintained (if the Zamboni is even working that day), the bathrooms and public spaces are grimy and unkempt and there in a general negative energy permeating the entire space.

Any would-be skater would be much better served by attending the Orlando and Kissimmee ice rinks, both of which are clean, organized, helpful and with managers that actually put thought, effort and consideration towards their rink, their staff and...
