Windhover Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Rockport

Attended a performance in late June that featured several dance schools and companies. Spectacular!! The variety of music and dance styles from very committed dancers of all ages made for an unforgettable evening. There was technical brilliance, poignant social commentary and just plain fun pieces that invited the audience to rejoice with the dancers. On the practical side, the space under the tent is very limited so we sat very close to stage left, my party on a picnic table amongst the weeds, I on a rock closer to the stage. Outdoor theater venue, beautiful and mostly shady! You can buy a whole picnic table & bring food & drink. The play, "Tiny Beautiful Things" was really well done. Only reason not 5 stars is that audience has to wear masks even though outside. Hoping this will change over the summer season... don't let this keep you...

Not our best night out. Venue seemed like an old farm and very buggy which took away from concentrating on the performance. I guess I enjoy watching my performing arts inside. Not a value for my hard...
