Lakeside Park — Attraction in Rogers City

❤️ this park! It is always peaceful & quiet. Never crowded. Plenty of parking & can almost always find a close spot. Fun for the entire family here on the shores of Lake Huron 😊

There is a pavilion with ice cream & shakes (cones, bowls, sundaes, root beer floats, e.t.c. Staff is fast & friendly. Get a lot for little cost. Usually open until 9pm in the summer 🌞. The kids love it! 🤤. You can sit outside and enjoy your ice cream 🍨 🍦 in the sun or if its too hot or rainy 🌧️, there is plenty of picnic tables set up inside under cover & the public restrooms inside are spacious & cleanly.

There is everything a family would want here in a park atmosphere. The scenery is very nice. Beautiful large sandy beach 🏖️ with sand volleyball and a little kids playground with swings & slides.

There is also a large basketball court with 6 nets, a pier to walk out on & walking/run/jogging trail nearby.

This park is a long long walk to the lake and the beach is like a giant kitty litter box I'm sorry I did not get any pictures of the sand for it is not sand at all the rocks that are there is little tiny Pebbles if you are a rock tumbler and you like to tumble rocks gather up some of those and you could put them in your rock tumbler and use those instead of find Grit to Tumble your rocks or if you have cats inside put some baking soda with this and have kitty litter for your cats therefore the city of Rogers City needs to do something about the city park by the lake I can now see why people do not go there to bathe by the Lakeshore. Other than that if you want to go there and just sit and look at the beautiful Lake it is good for that but...

Come one, come all. This kids park is a beautiful mix of old and new. A spiral slide we wished we had when we were young. Clean, well groomed. Handicapable swings, clean porta-potty. Walking distance to valley ball courts and the crown jewel of the Sunrise Side, Lake Huron (AKA La Mer Douce, Loc Des Huron).

Clear sandy waters make for an inviting experience from Small Permitted Parties to sunny days roasting under the Northern Michigan sun rays.
