I love this park. I've loved it since I was a little kid and it's still just as beautiful (can't say that about any other park nearby). The number of trees and native plants, a nice and beautiful walkway with clean bathrooms is great. The bridge is safe to walk across-watch for railing slivers though. I love how they allow natural medicine to grow in the grass like clover and plantain. It's right along a great swim spot full of yummy blackberries. WARNING if picking blackberries across the water, be aware there are poisonous red nightshade berries mingled right in next to the edible blackberries so PLEASE watch your pets and kids and do not allow them to eat those ones. Hopefully someday they will replace those with other native edible bushes like thimbleberry, Indian plum and Oregon grape. That's just wishful thinking though 😁 There is a small park for kids to play on but beware, the plastic does get really hot in the sun. Enjoy this park to the fullest and please remember to leave it better than you found...

This was a very clean park! Unfortunately, we did not do much exploring. I stopped here to let the kids out on a long road trip. The playground was small, but enough for my 4&5 yo. There were swings, bathrooms, and drinking fountains. Plenty of shaded areas to cool off and right on the water. There was a bridge across the river and it looked like some good paths for walking.

The only negative I have for my visit was parking. The lot was closed because they were resurfacing it. I had to park on the side of the road and there really wasn't much room. But I guess it will be a positive for anyone reading this because now it is...

Beautiful space, picnic areas, charcoal grills, tennis and basketball courts. Bathrooms aren't the greatest, men's was strewn with paper towels when I visited (none left to dry hands with awkward on a date, considered using floor towels in the bigger stacks, alas it was dark (lights? Nonexistent?) and decided against that quickly.

Lots of paths, easy access to water front, great bridges to walk over one small one and a big one that sways Ooo scary. Private area and stone stair walkways lead to a secret garden feeling space. Really great park...

It's a small Arboretum with lots of different species to see. One of the old redwoods has been carved down into a wooden sculpture. The is a monkey-puzzle tree there, too. The suspension bridge is a cool feature and the water rushing underneath is soothing to the ears. While I was there, a few people were working on restoration of the embankment. If you are a birder, you may find some new- to- you species. I used my app and it registered 15 species.
