Tarasco Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Rogue River

we came here from grants pass because their menu had virgin margaritas - not great. it was pretty much a milkshake made with margarita mixer, and they put whipped cream and even a cherry on it. it wasn’t even in a margarita glass. this isn’t thoughtful because A) i was given dairy on something that i shouldn’t have even expected it in, and B) it was kind of embarrassing as an adult woman to be given that. i don’t tolerate alcohol and i felt embarrassed and infantilized, literally, it was a drink for kids. i think a description on the menu would help others know what they’re ordering. the food was okay, but again the description on my dish only listed sour cream, not cheese, so i only asked for the sour cream to be omitted - but it was covered in cheese. i didn’t bring any of this up and i ate it anyway because at the end of the day they prepared it the way it comes, it’s just that their menu does not accurately reflect the ingredients at all. if you are dairy sensitive, i’m sure you will be okay if you make that absolutely clear from...

I love this restaurant! Juan and his crew are friendly, and kind. They make the most delicious EVERYTHING! From fajitas, to burritos (which most COME with rice and beans!), to quesadillas, to tamales, to the most delicious chili relleno!! I usually only order one thing and nothing else at Mexican restaurants... Not the case here, everything is delicious.

And lastly, they have AMAZING portion sizes and best of all, the refried beans are vegetarian (we don't eat pork so it was awesome knowing their beans didn't have lard).

We recently moved to Rogue River about 3 weeks ago and we have already taken most of our friends and family here. Probably eaten here 10+ times already. We love you guys! Keep doing what you're doing...

Very nice place! And excellent food. Very clean, prompt and courteous! Waiter was personable, and made conversation. I need to emphasize the food was really good -- and unique. Three of us had lunch, and everyone besides myself was known to be picky in reference to Mexican cuisine. There were no complaints -- but praises all around!! They have a wonderful habanero salsa that they will give you if you request salsa with heat. It is great, and has wonderful "Sabor"!
