I really wanted to like this place. My fiance and I went to their valentines day tasting event where they paired different wines with chocolates for a fun and new experience for our date. The wine was good and the chocolates were nice and in step with the valentine theme. I wish I could stop the review there. However for some reason it felt as though we were being treated much more coldly than the other couples and groups. My order for a glass of wine while my fiance was in the restroom was ignored or forgotten. Once we moved to a table in the main room we decided to order a charcuterie board and a couple glasses of wine. We had to place this order three separate times to two different people before it seemed to be actually placed. Once we were ready to pay we were read off an order that was not ours at all. We explained what we had actually ordered and it seemed that the situation was remedied at the time. We left with our two bottles of wine and confused, mixed feelings. The next morning as we were going over the receipt it appeared they had after all charged us for a completely different order that did not even mildly resemble our own. Again I really wanted to like this place but it will be a long time before I am ready to give them...
Read moreMy friend and I decided to meet here for Thursday night B.I.N.G.O. The winery is set in the back of a warehouse area so it was a bit tricky to find. The lobby/restaurant area inside is inviting and large enough to hold many people. The staff were all friendly and informational on the menu. My friend tried the wine slushie and she wasn't so happy with it. It was in a very small plastic cup and mostly all ice. We also ordered the small cheese charcuterie board. It was nice but the cost of $15 dollars seemed very expensive for what we actually received. I didn't have wine because I was driving so I had a can of Sprite which was only $1. The B.I.N.G.O was fun and there were small prizes such as a bag of chocolates and flavored popcorn. The atmosphere was fun and the man calling the words for the game was friendly and entertaining. We would suggest giving the winery a try for either an everyday tasting or during one of its fun events. They do have a nice selection of wines and a small menu for food. It would be a nice place for a...
Read moreAverage at best. Wines were okay, nothing special that would make me want to go back. But the food was awful. I ordered the caprese flatbread after seeing a picture of it on their website, showing fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, basil leaves. You know, what caprese should be! What I received was basically a cheese pizza. Shredded mozzarella, diced tomatoes, not much basil. I've had better flatbread for $5 from a grocery store. Also, A friend ordered the $30 charcuterie. Way overpriced, I believe they unpack grocery store meat and veggie trays, put it on a cutting board, and call it "gourmet ". I wouldn't be surprised if the flatbread was also store bought. Maybe you can find the wine to your liking, but I wouldnt come...
