Here is a photo of the entrance during "open" hours. You cannot even drive in to the park and there's nowhere to park by this gate. I do not understand. So many NJ parks I have visited are inaccessible in some way.

Becker Park is perfect for a daily walk, especially if you have a dog. The small trail is just the right length for a quick and refreshing stroll. it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy some fresh air with your pet.

Nice trail. You can cut through the woods at the end to McLellan drive.

Sorry, I don't know what Becker's Park is like. But in the 1960s Becker's Farm was one of the most fantastic places for children to visit. Itinerary: 1.1. A long miniature train ride out through the fields. A real train on steel tracks, not some fake cars with rubber wheels towed by a tractor. 1.2. While riding, look for the salt licks out in the fields to attract the cows. Tour the cow barn. Read the names of the cows, and their milk production stats. The barn must have had good ventilation because it wasn't smelly. Drink a carton of some of the most delicious chocolate milk ever made. Probably loaded with fat and sugar. I lived in a nearby town so we went there pretty often. Glad to hear it's a park. The last time I drove by the area, I only saw...

Becker's Farm was formerly a large diary farm locally famous for the authentic small trains that carried folks from all over Jersey on a journey around the farm, passing pigs, chickens, and cows until heading into forest, pastures and streams. Additionally, folk legend has it that the Fast Ones, spirits of the Lenee-Lenape Indians that once lived on the land, continue to run wild in the woods and fields, chasing deers and the occasionally hiking human. I have seen them on several occasions flying over the grass as if propelled by secret winds. They are friendly creatures and enjoy...

Secluted county park with a filed and some benches. It that connects to the Lenope trail and is affiliated with nearby county parks (Riker Hill Art Park and the Kiddie Dinosaur Fossel Site). Via the trail, one can go between Livingston and Roseland. It makes a nice wooded walk with a small section under power lines. Just be prepared to go with a buddy. The trail has a section of over 1 mile where you likely won't see...
