Northland Recreation Center — Local services in Livingston

Great community pool. There are two in the city of livingston. Both are clean and not over chlorinated. Gets a little crowded on the weekend but what pool doesn't... still plenty of space and we never had an issue finding a place to sit or place our things. Relatively safe for kids to swim and plenty of lifeguards to watch over the little ones. Also the pool doesn't get too deep... 5'9" in the deepest part- still ok for a kiddie cannon ball. Taking away one star because of the lame showers here. They are motion activated and come out at a trickle. You'll end up showering for about 2-4 more than you usually would trying to rinse the soap off. Guess we'll just shower at home- we are within...

When I used to go to the pool on financial assistnace it used to be $30 if you made under a certain amoutn. the lifeguard used to make faces and peopel used to get annoyed. senior citizens would come over asking me where I worked. It was hard to tell them I was working on a busines only to be told it won't work because it's for band members and celebs that need rehab. It's a lot richer now since livingston has new families. they have a ton of lifeguards i guess and it's pretty packed with luxury cars. I used to read books from the library...

Nice and secluded wooded area with both wading and adult pools. Enjoyed tether ball with grandchildren. Full facilities with changing area, shower stalls and restrooms. Many lifeguards on duty for safety. I really...
