I've seen this park transform since I was a little girl. I grew up on a street in the neighborhood. In 30 years, this place sure has changed, but has also remained the same! The woods aren't just woods anymore, now they're paved. But it is still very beautiful and peaceful to walk through. The 2 little lakes are also paved around, lots of people fish here. There's more than enough space for you and your family to play any sport you desire, lots of soccer going on. The park has been updated, there's musical toys and interactive activities. (I haven't personally messed with it, but you can download an app for whatever it is the park equipment does to sync with it.) Kids love the park. Clean bathrooms. Don't ever leave your child alone here, there have been assaults in the bathroom before. All in all a very safe park, have never not enjoyed myself. Even when it hasnt rained in a while I've still never seen the trail fully dry where you don't have to navigate muddy fields to go around.
