I purchased a 16pro from this location a year ago, I wanted to enroll with the first net program, was told they have no connection to it that I have to do it myself at home. Cool. I get home and call first net, first net directs me down the process of what the sales representative was supposed to do IN STORE, shocker! As I had a further discussion with the FIRST NET representative, I was told my bill was almost $200, for ONE LINE, when first net lines start at $42, how does that happen you may ask? Bait and switch. The AT&T representatives in store will tell you youâre getting something and then put something much more expensive on your account, which leads me to my next story. Iphone17 pro max preorder dates come around, I couldnât figure out how to add another line to my first net plan and get the new iphone, so I go in store, huge mistake. The saleâs representative, Ansu to be exact, rushes me through the process and at the end of the âsaleâ I ask him the price of the plan he chose for the new line, once I realized it was NOT the plan I wanted I asked for it to be changed to the one I wanted and I was told verbatim âOh if I change the plan I have to restart the whole process over again.â Which then I told him âOh itâs fine, donât worry about it. I have to call before my bill comes in each time I leave from here anyways.â He thought he got over on me because then he was happy to proceed, wrong. I called first net once my Iphone17 arrived and changed everything. From phone insurance, next up & rate plan. But the kicker is they tell you they can have âactivation fees waivedâ wrong again. Be prepared to pay the $35 activation fee and âmonthly bill differentialâ. I keep returning to this location because itâs close and never busy, I very clearly know why, but I also know the game, I did it for 2 years in Wal-Mart.
So please if you go here and purchase any plan, lines, or any devices with service, make sure you call AT&T yourself afterwards or youâll end up with a bill much higher than you think because theyâre trying to make commission off something you did not ask for, which...
Read moreGiving a one star is a requirement, but it should be zero star! I had the worst experience at this location! I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this location! My sister and I came and looking for an upgrade on her phone. First, there was no greeting over friendliness welcome from the staffs. After a while standing by the door, a rep came and asked how can they help. We told him what we needed, and he asked us for our info. We have it to him and started asking questions on the iphone 13 Pro. He gave us a date for the delivery since they didnât have any at the store. We then asked about the Samsung S22, but since thatâs the latest phone, so we would get the until March 27th. Therefore, we decided to switch back to the iphone 13 Pro. At this point, he started to show some attitude, and I told my sister, if he show another sign of attitude, then we will cancel and leave. Soon enough, my sister asked about the Samsung Z Flip3, then he stated, âso you want to switch again?â, then I asked him, âdo you mind?â. We are the customers and we want to check out our options before buying a $1000 phone! I told my sister letâs leave because the rep wasnât friendly and genuine on helping us find a phone. I asked to talk to his manager and he said âwe donât have a manager at this location.â Then I asked for his name, but he wouldnât give it to me! Then I noticed he has on a different shirt from other employees, so I asked if he wasnât the manager and he says âyesâ! Thatâs why he didnât want give me the managerâs info and his name! These behaviors are not from a leadership stand point, and I know at&t has better training then customer service than this, because I went to a different at&t store after that, and we was treated way better than here! Another major point is that after I didnât want to buy the phone from him, he went ahead and still place the order. I found this out from the second location that I went to. That was a deceptive practice from the rowlett location trying to meet there sales goal for their commissions! I will never bring my business to the rowlett location...
Read moreWent in to get my husband a phone and add him to my line, the girl helping us seemed cool, was helpful, even told us to come back and sheâd give us a discount on cases for his new phone. Welp, I decided to look at my bill early, as Iâm aware that the first bill after adding a line is usually a little higher, and was shocked that it said $360. Just 2 lines. We immediately went to AT&T to ask why it was so high, even the guy Nathan who helped us that day was shocked at the amount i was being billed. So he printed off the bill breakdowns and helped us look through them, turns out the girl upgraded my plan, as well as my husbands, added insurance( which i purposefully didnât get on my phone that i got LAST SUMMER) , charged us for half a month service, and failed to mention the activation fees that came with it, ALL WITHOUT TELLING ME A THING. I was very direct to the girl and had told her i need all the prices, all the fees that will be added on so i wouldnât get any surprises and she reassured me many times that all I had to do was pay the $70 that day, then pay my bill when it was time, she even said that i wouldnt be billed half month fee because i went at the perfect time since the new cycle was starting. No mention of activation fees, half month bill, insurance, upgrades in plans, itâs absolutely insane. Needless to say I had to get that fixed really quick, talked to Nathan about our options, he was super helpful even directed us to the loyalty department. The loyalty department was so incredibly nice and helpful, asked me about every detail and managed to fix all the problems, very thankful for their help and guidance. But for that Lady at AT&T, stop trying to scam ppl cuz you got the...
