$5 to get in for the day. $20 for the year. A steal if you live in the area and very worth it. Cash or check only. A bit old school, but it works The interpretive trail is located at the end of the paved road inside the Parker River wildlife refuge. This place is a slice of paradise😍. A birdwatchers dream! I can’t even name all the birds we saw. Binoculars and a camera will definitely treat you to some beautiful sights. Wear good shoes and depending on the season, long sleeves and long pants are a must! Otherwise you will be a meal for the “greenfly”. A vicious little creature. However in September (when I visited) the season of these flies is over. But it is marshland, so mosquitos are always a possibility. There is handicap parking on the main road with entrances right onto the boardwalk. It’s super accessible! A great place to watch the sunset and enjoy the peace. You could spend a few hours, to a whole day exploring the beautiful little Plum Island.

Wonderful easy board walk that shows all the facets of plum island. Good parking and wonderful autumn colours.

Well paved trail, Wheelchairs can also go there. Around 3-4 points along the trail with one observation tower. Ocean View point is the best one. Entry to the entire reservation is 5$ but the beaches were closed only trails were open. In case want to visit beaches then confirm if those are open before going. Parking is limited but usually you will get as people come by

Took my 2.9y/o daughter for a walk and it was so perfect for her. Though it's definitely made more so for those who want to take it easy and slow and just walk and enjoy nature and the birds and other wildlife. My girl on the other hand just wants to run and run and run. The boardwalk is in perfect shape and even the out and back look out points were well kept. We very...
