This place is a slice of paradise😍. A birdwatchers dream! I can’t even name all the birds we saw. Binoculars and a camera will definitely treat you to some beautiful sights.
Wear good shoes and depending on the season, long sleeves and long pants are a must! Otherwise you will be a meal for the “greenfly”. A vicious little creature. However in September (when I visited) the season of these flies is over. But it is marshland, so mosquitos are always a possibility.
There is handicap parking on the main road with entrances right onto the boardwalk. It’s super accessible!
