The beach is rocky, so wear water shoes if you want to get in.
Lots of snails and crabs if you look close and seabirds if you look far.
Abuts Odiorne State Park; trails, benches, tables, playground, trash cans, and restrooms are a short walk north.

This spot is definitely worth stopping by to check out. I actually did not know about what other past reviewers revealed: that this is home to a sunken forest with petrified trees. Very cool!
There is a large area dedicated to cairns as well... be careful of not disturbing any and build your own! I bring the kids here a lot to explore and play in the surround area. There is a park nearby for kids to play in.
