Great place for a day trip. Lots of hiking and things to explore. Lots of people out here enjoying the park. We looked at the camp sites and rv sites they all look amazing ! Wish we had our rig with us. Very impressed with the shelter camping areas. Multiple rangers riding around - so we felt very safe. Views from the river were gorgeous.

One star lost because all the food amenities were closed at lunch on a Sunday. An hour away from any other...

I would give this place a negative review if I could! Don't waste your time!! Drove 2 hours with my family and was told no day permits. That we would have to reserve a day pass 30 days in advance. Would even let me potty walk my dogs and give them water. Ushered me out the the exit lane. Worst trip to any state park ever and funding for that place should be...
