If you’re looking for a gym that feels more like a family than a fitness center, than Power Pack Fitness is your gym. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a warmth and energy that is unmatched. Owners Sofia and Brandon have cultivated something truly special here—a community that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering. As someone who has worked out at many gyms in the area, I can confidently say that nothing compares to the environment they’ve created at Power Pack.
What sets Power Pack apart is the people. From the gym manager to every trainer, you’re made to feel welcome and at home. Gyms can often be intimidating, but Sofia and Brandon have found a way to remove all those barriers. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or brand new to fitness, you’ll feel like you belong here.
I’ve had the pleasure of taking a variety of classes at Power Pack, and each one has left me feeling challenged and accomplished. Sofia’s Barre class is a perfect blend of strength and grace with a whole lot of spice, Daniel’s boot camps push you to your limits in the best way possible. Mo’s strength training sessions are transformative, and Sean’s kickboxing classes are an absolute blast (and a killer workout!). Every class will leave you feeling wiped, but also incredibly energized by what you’ve just achieved.
For the past 2.5 years, I’ve been training with Brandon, and I can honestly say I’ve never felt better. At 40 years old, I’m in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally. Brandon’s expertise, encouragement, and personalized approach have been game-changing for me. He truly cares about his clients and their progress, and it shows in every session.
I cannot recommend Power Pack Fitness enough. Whether you’re brand new to working out or a seasoned athlete, this gym has something for everyone. The energy, the community, and the results are unparalleled. If you’re ready to take your fitness journey to the next level, do yourself a favor and experience the magic of Power Pack. You won’t regret it!
Thank you, Sofia, Brandon, and the entire Power Pack team, for creating a space where everyone can thrive. You’ve built something truly extraordinary, and I’m so grateful to be...
Read moreWorst workout experience of my life. Did one lifting and strength workout class here and ended up in the hospital with Rhabdomyolysis for 4 days where my labs were critical, had to get blood drawn multiple times a day, and be on IV fluids to get the toxins from muscle breakdown flushed out of my system. I informed instructor I was a beginner and had not worked out for a while. Hardly any accommodation was made for me, and there was minimal support. In addition the workout for anyone, not just beginners, is very poorly designed as there is no rest integrated into the sets which could put anyone at risk for Rhabdo. Unprofessional trainer, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Now I have to wait several weeks to months before I can even exercise again. Rhabo is very serious and can lead to kidney failure and even death and this gym needs do better to prevent this.
Edit: in response: to say that the trainer checked in on me based on footage is not exactly accurate. Trainer came over to be often to encourage me to keep going when I was trying to rest. And I did receive multiple texts about how the trainers could assist me while I was in the hospital, I did not respond because what could you possibly do at that point while I am laying in a hospital bed? You can’t assist me while I am in the hospital. What you can do is make better programs and add in rests...
Read moreI saw online that the gym had a $30 dollar gym special where new customers could try the gym out for a week. As someone who is looking for a new gym in the area, I really liked all the reviews that have been posted publicly. After doing further research on their Google reviews, Yelp, and Mindbody app, the business had some really exciting reviews and also stated that they have accessible parking out front which is a huge plus for me as a perspective client.
As I went to attend the gym today, not only were the 5 parking spaces and 1 accessible parking spot completely full, but the owner stated I should find street parking as all members typically park on the street (which the city only allows 1 hour parking). The nearest parking spot was over a block away and it was raining really hard. After trying to find a closer spot for over 10 minutes, I gave up and went home. This was a frustrating process.
Listen, the community probably is great and offers a space for members to feel valued. However, all I could think about how parking should not be advertised and should not say there is accessible parking available when none is actually available. As someone who would be a perspective customer paying hundreds of dollars monthly, parking should be something provided....
