WARNING: In my opinion this reseller lacks the business processes and customer service to be worthy of doing business with based upon my experience with them on Amazon.
I just wanted to warn the public about the practices that this company is taking on Amazon, just in case they are doing the same thing to other customers.
On December 23rd, I pleased an order on Amazon and on the 24th I received the shipping notice and the USPS tracking information. On January 12th I contacted the seller as I still had not received by order and learned it was on backorder and would ship sometime in the future.
How can this be I wondered as the web site stated it was in stock would be shipped within 1 – 2 days, same as your site states.
When looking at the fact of the transaction, it looks like they are faking shipments with USPS for goods they don't have in stock just to charge the credit card.
Facts of the Transaction: They misrepresented on the web site that the product was in stock (Fraud?) They charged my credit card without having the goods to ship (Fraud?) They sent a notice to USPS to pick-up a product they didn’t have in stock, and to create a tracking number as if the product had shipped (Fraud?) They seem to be taking accounting credit in advance of actually shipping products, which is illegal in most states
Bottom line: I believe you need to be aware of the businesses in your area that may have possible...
Read moreThis is a small boutique type grocery that has a butcher counter. Parking is very limited. We go here for items that are not readily available elsewhere. They don't have a lot of organic options and are a bit pricey.
We notice that their meat from the butcher counter tends to go bad faster than say meats purchased from Costco. So buy the same day you need it.
If you want fresh ground meat or anything that's not in the case, note that the butchers are "sometimes" moody or grumpy. So we just go mostly when we need something that's in the case. Hopefully we can get our own meat grinder at some point in the future.
One item that is really good is their smoked pork chops despite the fact that they are very salty. However they are often sold out.
Some other items they have are "real" soup stock in the freezer case, Straus organic heavy cream in the glass jar, Carmazzi caramel popcorn, Tonnino Ventresca Tuna in a glass jar, Burroughs eggs etc.
Basically the best thing to do is go here carefully look thru each aisle and case without looking too weird and you will probably find stuff you didn't even knew existed.
With all that being said this is "definitely" a part of our grocery...
Read moreWanted to order a small but special prime rib for Christmas dinner to be ready for my son who had to work on Christmas. I heard Taylor’s had a great butcher shop, so I ordered a $25.00 lb 3 pound dry aged prime rib. I asked for it to be seasoned and I heard it repeated back to me. Went to pick up my order and opened it up when I got home to see what an expensive cut looked like. It had no seasoning on it, so I called and spoke to Danny. I explained to Danny what happened and that I was disappointed. Danny asked what they could do to make it right. I explained that I was 30 minutes away and out of time. Danny then says Merry Christmas in a derogatory way. He told me to bring it back and he would season it and also tells me he would give me a $10.00 bill. I couldn’t trust him since he took on a rude demeanor. This was my first time using Taylor’s and probably...
