My kids and I absolutely adore this park! Even when it was very crowded, there was still plenty of room for everyone. It is such a large playground and play area that there is something for every kid to do even when there's a ton of kids. My kids enjoyed every single part of the play area, and there is no border because there's always something else to do. Are absolute favorite part of this park is a slide that is made up of rollers, so it's like a tilted conveyor belt. So much fun! Truly a beautiful Park, with so many different places to sit and watch over the kids while they play. Absolutely wonderful spot for parties. There are multiple parts of the park that have picnic tables or just special seating areas. Also a huge bonus.. they have bathrooms and drinking fountains! I highly recommend this playground because just like us it will become a...
Read moreThis is THE place to be with the kids during spring and summer. The park is big and adapted to handycapped children. Its is just by the fire station, near an ice cream store and the library. They have a great water splash too. The bathrooms are usually very clean and they have a pic nic area with a lot of tables in the shade plus smaller pic nic tables always shaded in different areas of the playground. Around the playground there is a circular flat area so kids can bring their bikes, but I would not recommend to do it when the park is too crowded or there is a lot of kids in the water splash. Only one kind of bad thing is that is not very good for toddlers. The playground area is too tall and moms usually feel scared about their little ones falling but once they reach 4 or 5 this is not a...
Read moreThe playground here is enormous and well-maintained, perhaps the best in St. Charles. Small wonder then, that crowds flock to it in good weather. So many people at once made for a challenging time keeping eyes on little ones, but good facility design made that job much easier than it could have been. I'll definitely bring my family here again. Do consider introducing young children to the enormous spinning rope climber gently where possible - I saw several of them burst into tears the first time it started to spin and they felt unsteady... only to return seconds after dismount/rescue because all the older kids (and half of the tiny ones) are still on there and squealing to go faster. What a blast! Also, bring a swimsuit after May 1st for...
