OK let me start by saying that this place has a lot of good going for it but the bad sometimes out weighs it……… bakery 5 🌟, selection 3 🌟, prices 0 🌟, customer service 4 🌟 , Convenience 5 🌟, lines 2 🌟…… I used to go here for lots of different reasons, but lately I've avoided it, here's why …… one day I happen to ask I think the manger if they priced matched their competition and she gave me a look of disgust like she's never been asked that before then responded with our prices are already low and don't need to match, well I had my phone in my had ready to show her the difference, didn't show her but did tell her that their prices are high, also this store is in need of a natural/ organic/ gluten free section, all other stores have one, the lines can get out of control, I wish that they would put in a self check out, I pulled in one day looked into store saw the madness of minimal staff and went down the road, last thing their brand of stuff is questionable at best, hope they can get with the times and if not I'll go if I'm in a pinch and just need one or two things……… update got charged for gravy for my mashed potatoes …… it's not the money it's...
Read moreToday is 1/29/20 my wife who works in the neighborhood had heard great things about the deli and the hot food plates. So she sends me and my 3 children over to get a plate. First not one person spoke to me or knowledge that i was a customer waiting for service. Then a guy walks up ask what i want. Then tell the older women next to him im next. She rolls her eye's and says nothing. Then a another customer jumps me. And they take his order knowing i was already present in line. No respect for my kindness. Not one hello, thank you or have a nice day. I felt like i didnt belong in this market. I would hate to say it was because of my skin color but thats how I felt. I just hate that my children has to witness that type of customer service when you try to teach them respect for everybody. But this forsure be my last visit here. I hope someone goes over some type of training methods on service soon. Im sure this isnt the first time for a black customer in this market. To feel this way and i still said thank you...
Read moreEmployees are unnecessarily rude and unfriendly. There is a female manager that wears bright red lipstick and short cut usually red hair, walks around with a scowl on her face, has a major attitude problem. I was at the money counter with noone there, so I asked for help. She came over and in a very condescending manner told me I won't get faster service by demanding someone. Like what?! Employees will see someone at the deli counter and instead of letting someone know they need help, they just ignore you and jeep working, no way to get someones attention. When checking out an employee made me stand there while she slowly on purpose, put away plastic bags on the stand, after 5 minutes of me clearly standing there with stuff on the belt she asked "Oh. Are you ready?". I don't understand why they behave this way but a predominantly white work force and them being a union job makes them feel highly inbolden to treat customers like this. I will be recording my time in there and post it...
