Lots of interesting artifacts and historical displays. You can learn a great deal about the island's maritime and fishing history in a half hour visit. There's also a great display, including an oral history narrated by one of the two survivors, about the history of the greatest shipping disaster on Lake Michigan, which happened in 1958 near Beaver Island.
