The most worthwhile dining experience on Beaver Island! Bryan and Natalie have done such a great job with a dietary-friendly menu, fantastic service and atmosphere, and decent pricing. Love their modern menu featuring items such as avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and ancient grain bowls. My favorite so far has been the burrito made into a bowl (gluten and dairy free option). They had a delicious carrot coconut curry soup for lunch (V, GF, DF) and plenty of choices for my husband. Full espresso bar and coffee menu, some basic spiked coffee drinks and mimosas. Only wish they were open for dinner so we could eat here all day ☺️😉 Beautiful space, good for groups, kids, fresh food.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, just what you need when gale force winds have taken power out to 240 cabins/homes south of St. James. The food is fantastic, I had the biscuits and gravy adding an over easy egg on top. I paired that with a hot cider and Jack which warmed me to my bones. I can also report that the quiche is excellent, fluffy with mushrooms. And apparently the brioche French toast is a menu item that is well loved. The staff is friendly and efficient, the excellent service was delivered joyfully even during the crush of customers. I will be returning at every opportunity =)

The menu options (vegan and non) lured us in, but we liked this place so much we ate there 3 times during our 2-day stay! Would've gone back for dinners too if they were open later! Staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Delicious food, prepared fresh and with care. Convenient location with chill vibe. Clean, single-stall restroom. Outdoor seating on covered porch with great views of the harbor. WiFi available. If we're lucky enough to return to the island someday, we're definitely going back.

All of the info I found said breakfast, but when I went there Saturday (june 17th), their sign said breakfast only on Sundays.

Eta: The only confusion is in your restaurant.

Maybe you should adjust your signage/wording then, as your current wording can be taken either way. As is, it was "breakfast only sundays" is unclear. I and my companion read it as breakfast available only on sundays. We stood talking to each other IN your restaurant as well, with no one greeting us or asking us if we wanted to order anything.

Eta 2: Your sign may read that now, but it did not on saturday. It was 3 words, no punctuation: "breakfast only sundays." Maybe someone didn't write it out like you wanted, but it did NOT say "breakfast only, on sundays." If it had, I would not have left hungry & confused.

I confirmed with my companion what your sign read. They recall the exact same thing. 3 words: "breakfast only sundays."

As is, I would never recommend your restaurant, neither...
