I celebrated my son's first birthday here and it was a wonderful place to do it. The scenery is beautiful and there is an amazing playground and swings and benches everywhere. They have an archway right at the top of the hill in front of the water to get really cute pictures there. It's a stunning place and well worth a visit with the kids or a place to celebrate birthdays or even a wedding with the beautiful and huge oaks and again the scenery is beautiful. The tide was out when I took these pictures but normally when it's up to covers those two bottom, big steps. The also allow people to fish for scallops but there is a type of license you need in order to do it. There are informational signs posted everywhere. Oh and the big pavilion does have electricity with the ability to turn on the lights of the building when it starts to get darker and plugs to use for blow up bounce houses or just charging your phone or use the back wall as a screen and plug in a projector and have a movie date there by the water with the family. This place offers you the freedom to get creative and it appeals to every age. Go check it out...
