I used to love this place I ever since I was little and I’m a friendly person who give my number away only to those workers who needed a friend to talk with it doesn’t matter if it’s a men or woman. Especially when they start the conversations. We all end up being friends. I didn’t expect those friendly days would end up getting me warning and report as a misconduct person at there store. This is my first bad experience with just one worker. I don’t mean no harm to no one. I also understand workers safety policy. But without any understanding or any evidences. I am really disappointed. No wonder some of my family members and friends who used to work there warn me not to be too friendly over there. Few workers over there are really toxic and especially two face people who likes to lured people in conversation. Afterwards they report you as a wanted person and blacklist you at the store as dangerous person. If you have a good record and going to start a friendly conversation with the workers. My advice to everyone do not answer or start a conversations with the workers even if they say ‘Hi’. Especially the ones who looks really nice. It is hard to tell what there motives are. I guess I will not be able to come to this store no more. It is time to move away from the past and move on to the future. It was a good memory from childhood to an adulthood. Goodbye...
Read moreGolden Harvest is great at what it does offering a great selection for it's medium size, but what it does best is the excellent customer service experience compared to other oriental stores. When compared to other oriental stores, Golden Harvest is very clean and organized. The check out process is speedy, the workers wears uniforms and are equipped with communication devices so they can contact one another remotely to help customers find products, and they employ people from the community who can speak the language of the area. Their deli section is also freshly made every day with sticky rice, sausage, chicken, egg rolls, and steam rolls. The only real improvement Golden Harvest can do at the moment is their parking lot which can become full very fast, but that's a testament that people loves Golden Harvest and flock to it as their preferred oriental grocery store.
If you live in the area and have not shopped at Golden Harvest you are truly missing out. If you happen to be in visiting within the area you won't regret coming in and seeing what Golden Harvest has to offer. In short, Golden Harvest has been a staple in the community for decades and clearly they're doing...
Read moreGolden Harvest is likely one of the best small supermarkets in Saint Paul and topping that off the best Asian grocery store too.
They've really done their homework and your enjoyable experience begins right away with a central location, plenty parking, well laid out, posted, painted, clean and well-lit lot. Entering you very likely will be greeted by smiling staff into a well-lit, clean, spacious equally well organized, thoughtfully posted and laid out shopping aisles.
Every shelf is tidy and stocked and staff literally will stop what they are doing to help you if asked a question. Checkout counters are plenty, plenty fast, and efficient.
Their fruits and veg dept is kept fresh and attractive and their meats and deli debt also very good, complimented with a little take-out food counter. Their supermarket strategy seems to be not to stock everything under the sun, but a narrower range known to sell and turnover fairly fast, keeping their shelves always looking fresh and neat. Very very...
