Phalen Beach House — Local services in Saint Paul

The lifeguards are useless. My son almost drowned and I was yelling for help since I was father away. The lifeguard looked at me and turned away. I was horrified and barely made it to my son. I couldn't believe how she dismissed me and my son and when I confronted her, she denied everything. Please don't trust the lifeguards cuz they don't do anything. I dont see the point of having any when they won't help at the most critical time. I hope they do...

Kids should not be allowed to throw sand/rocks in the swimming area. The boys bathroom were full of bikes-I had no idea bikes were allowed in the bathroom. Lots of horseplay in the shower rooms, and staff/lifeguards let it slide. We will not be returning to a beach where lifeguards and staff seem just tired Of their job and let things slide. also lots of dogs pooping...

Beautiful park with a very nice beach. There were lifeguards on duty, changing areas, canoe and kayak rentals, and a splash pad. It's all very clean. It's in a park with many amenities, including excellent trails for walking or jogging. It's an excellent place to...
