Mounds Theatre — Attraction in Saint Paul

I was so SO excited to go to the 1 hour Haunted Tour tonight at this theater. I had always heard the theater was haunted. I went to the Wabasha Street Caves last weekend and it was superb but I thought this tour would be so much better. Boy, was I wrong. The Wabasha Street Caves Haunted Tour was half the price and extraordinary!!! - a MUST SEE

I felt this was a waste of my money and time. I invited 2 friends and they agreed. The woman who gave the tour talked too much. We visited 2 rooms - the theater and the projector room. No paranormal activity was seen or heard. The people directing the tour did not provide enough light for the stairs and my friend almost fell down the stairs.

We were unable to take photos, only when the tour lady said we could which was one time. We stood in 2 rooms in addition to the lobby of the theater without moving, which was hard on our feet and backs.

The 1 hour tour was spend with our guide talking the majority of the time (95%) - she even made a comment that she was talking too much, as she always does.

Went to the haunted tour here and had my k2 meter with me. It was going off frequently, especially by the stage and up by the projection booth. The tour was nice and the tour guides were excellent. As with any ghostly place you have to have patience. If they provided ghosts for you it would be a play, not a haunted tour. They also offer a more controlled environment 3 hour ghost hunt for $40. As a more experienced ghost hunter I will say that all indications are that this one truly has some activity going on.
