When I eat I drink Bloody Mary's they just taste better with my food if I feel like a drink, let me tell you I had a very reasonable priced Bloody Mary and it was on Point I could taste everything in the drink a first for me and it had all the fixings as well, I appreciated that. They also have a place too eat Pop's and Son grill I ordered 4 wings and a brisket topped Baked potato I asked for my wings hard didn't get that but they tasted ok and the brisket was not a lot but also good I didn't bring my wings back because they seemed real busy they brought me someone else's food at first them my order and I appreciated Who I assume was Pop came and talked to his customer's checking on them and their food they gave us A 1 service I work in kitchen's and understand things happen sometimes it's how you react to the situation and after that matters the most and they gave the all. I will try them again because they food is good, and they fact they was busy, busy so that let me know a lil sum People like they food I was also asking people in the line about food and if they been here before and I got more yes than no and good food I heard ok Pop and Sons I'll be back..the bar also had karaoke A good time was had...

This bar was the best. I live 2 houses away don’t be scared of other peoples comments about it being a bad.neighborhood.like yes it’s on the east side and if you reside around here it may be sketchy to you but honestly it’s a safe place with a chill vibe However even though I drive and cook I loved getting bar food from here pizza burgers onion rings whatever typical bar food However since newest owners have taken over The kitchen is now permanently closed and that’s why I gave a low star review I support local but how can I support local if you don’t serve food Not everyone is there for alcohol Bring back the kitchen or loose a regular’s business Y’all know me by name because the business I brought you But no more I’ll be at obbs at least I can get some grub

Disappointed...

My guy , Roscoe himself, gave me a complimentary meal of the cat fish wings and fries combo. He wouldn't let me pay for it cause he wanted my honest opinion on the food. I tell you what, that is by far the best damn catfish I've ever had in the midwest in my life, the thickness of the batter fried to golden brown and perfection. Yet the fish was still tender and flakey as it should be, the fries, ... that's a whole nother animal for a side dish, he could sell those alone especially with the house made seasoning. Then come the wings...crispy, flavorful, juicy on the inside, cooked and fried the wings should be. Hands down even know he blessed me, it's worth every single penny and dollar. Whatever is going on in that kitchen....
