This was my first time here, and it was a thoroughly awful experience. I hope to never have to go back. I interacted with 3 employees, and all 3 of them were completely miserable. I asked one of the stockers about backstock of a product, and he walked away without so much as a, "let me check." He shoved it back at me after checking the computer and said, "it doesn't even show up in my system, so" shrug.
The second was the cashier, who told me the other line was open (there were 2 people in that line already and she had 1 person she was almost done with). I approached the counter, and she just held out her scan gun expectantly. There was no hello, or, "do you have your club card on you." Nothing. Luckily I had done some research to know that I needed a card and pieced together what was expected of me.
The receipt checker did the same. He was leaning up against the customer service desk facing the office and I thought he was a customer waiting for a manager. He abruptly stepped in front of me as I was out the door and did the same thing as the cashier--holding his hand out without explanation. He checked the cart and handed it all back to me without saying a single word to me start to finish.
The store itself was fine, but after that experience, I'd go to CostCo before I ever step foot in that building again. I get that they have a pseudo monopoly on the market, but that's no excuse for such awful...
Read moreAbsolutely The worst customer experience I have ever encountered! First time shopping there for my business. Went around 11am today. Walked in and saw there was a sign stating " deaf employee working please use your phone to communicate" so I typed up a message asking if I needed a membership. And the employee said " come over here I can't see that it's so tiny and dark. I apologized and referenced the sign, as she was not deaf. Asked the employee my questions about needing a membership and she informed me about being open to the public and asked for my ID for stopping in today. She had me fill out my information where she stated " fill out line 33" which I assumed was the next available line. ( It wasn't so I own my mistake for not looking closely enough). Gave back the clipboard and she looks at it then looks at me " Well now you didn't do what I asked! I said fill out line 33" I apologized and then she said " your address doesn't match your ID!" Which I explained the address I wrote down was my business address. She gave me my temporary pass and my ID and told me about the return policy that what ever I buy today is mine forever, they aren't accepting returns.
Quite literally was the rudest customer service I have ever experienced and made me decide not to purchase anything. I will not go back and have told me other business owners/manager peers that I would not recommend ever...
Read moreFirst time there and it was one of the worst costumer services I’ve ever experienced. The workers don’t greet you, not a single friendly face. The cashier I was waiting in line for was ringing someone up when she told everyone in line to go to other registers. I looked around and didn’t see any cashier available. The guy behind me noticed the same thing and asked the cashier, “where?” She responded with an attitude, “Stop being lazy and look around.”
So we walked around and saw two cashiers sitting on the counter hiding behind the registers and shelves. How do we know there are available cashiers to help us if they don’t get up to greet people letting us know they are available?
And then my cashier, Anastasia, gave the customer in front of me a nasty attitude. When it was my turn, I tried to be nice and greeted her despite her attitude but didn’t even get a hello in return. I thanked her after my transaction and she said “yep.”
Don’t expect to be treated politely here. Maybe they also don’t expect to be treated kindly too.
