Today, I had a reality bending moment that has forever changed the way I look at the world around me. This life-altering moment came from a sandwich I got about halfway through before feeling like I was going to regurgitate it up and threw it away, which is what you are looking at right there in the attached photos and which is a crime against nature sold at Coasters Beer Garden at the Minnesota State Fair known simply by one word: Uncrustaburger. What it is, is A. An abomination, but more importantly B. A new 2025 food at the state fair that everyone was raving about so I just had to try it. The great (or should I say, "hollow") minds back at Coasters HQ decided to whip this one up after wholeheartedly abandoning their brains. I kid you not, this is the process: They take two uncrustables sandwiches (you know, like the ones you might eat for lunch?) and they then take those two delectable uncrustables and deep fry them like they would some French fries (only in America 💪). Once they're crispy and golden brown, they pull them out of the deep fryer and use them as the buns to a hamburger which contains the burger itself, a slice of cheese, lettuce, some pickles, and Coasters "specialty sauce" (it was white, make any connections you'd like). This, dare I call it a sandwich, was the messiest meal I have ever gourged upon. One bite into it and I had flaming hot peanut butter all over my hand, and since the lady behind the counter didn't give me any napkins, I had to embarrassingly walk up to the counter covered in PB&J to ask for one (I took ten). The flavor itself, a combination of all the things listed above, was actually pretty rich and scrumptious while also being quite filling. It was an experience, to say the least, and one I won't be going through again in the near future, but one I nonetheless feel everyone should experience at some point within their lives.

The Caramel Corn Cream Ale, brewed by Lift Bridge Brewing Company, was a new, golden brew from Coasters at the 2025 Minnesota State Fair. It was a delightful throwback that tasted just like a carnival in a cup! This beer featured flavors of sweet caramel and toasted popcorn, making it a perfect fair-day treat.

So disappointed ☹️ that you cannot get an NA beer at Coasters. It’s a beer 🍻 garden! Instead they sold us what they called Hops Water. It tasted terrible. And it costs $10!
