I've never experienced a church such as this! I came here early in my recovery 7 years ago and found a spiritual community. Not a bunch of "perfect" people, but a group of "broken" people looking for healing. People sharing their, "brokenness", and helping each other to heal. While there is a correlation with "12 Step" programs, for me it's more about learning to apply the "principles" of the "Steps", ie. love, tolerance and understanding, in my daily life. It has also helped me to look differently at how my relationship with God, and Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, can be much more personal than I ever...
