Cole Park — Attraction in Salem

This park is well just great. I have not a complaint. None. It did drizzle a little bit on my nephews birthday party which was banana themed to those wondering. But I can hardly blame the park for the weather. If anything I have the park to thank for the pavilion. There was a lovely double rainbow in case anyone who sees this review is wondering if god will flood the earth again. Such a cute newer park tucked away in Salem! The farm theme is adorable. The slides are mostly shaded so it's a fantastic park in the hot summer months. It also nestles up to horses that come greet you near the fence (not amazing if you are scared of your kid trying to reach through because they all desperately try to get the horses to eat grass they pick from their hands). The only downside is there are no benches around the perimeter of the park. There is one gazebo on one end with a few shaded tables, but that's it, so you may be sitting on the grass. Very impressed with this brand new park! It has swings, slides, two pickleball courts with lights, a pavilion with picnic benches, a splash pad with two shaded benches, nice restrooms, and plenty of parking.
