Lindsey Garden Park is the perfect place to take your child with an irrational fear of the undead. Just let your child play for a while on the lovely playground equipment and then point out The cemetery nearby full of dead people. Your child is sure to realize that the dead do not come back to life. They stay dead in their graves and playing at Lindsey Garden Park is fun.

Great dog park. It has a ton of space and different areas for the dogs to play. It's clean and the grass is maintened. There's no fence, but the area is big enough that even my puppy doesn't bother running off, and I've never seen anyone else either. I've tried a lot of dog parks and this is my favorite

We found this gem while exploring the avenues and city cemetery. The bathrooms are well maintained and monitored. It is also fun to have a baseball field just down from the play ground. It is also well shaded for those hot afternoons. These are the salad days.

It's not your ordinary SLC park, it's actually quite auiet here, and--if you go all the way up the hill--you get a gorgeous view of the valley! Parking isn't too much of a deal here, unlike Sugar House, Liberty, Fairmont, and Pioneer parks, with a dedicated lot with spaces almost always available when I go. Street Parking isn't a hassle here either, so you can park on the nearby M street too. It's next to the cemetery, which may put you off, but when you're sitting atop the hill, you don't notice it, as you more see the valley below, kids playing, or people out with their dogs. I feel safe here, even at night, and especially during the day, as I've napped on the hill, read a good book, or just watched the sky. It's a good, quiet park, and a small corner of the city that somewhat...

My first trip to the off leash area at Lindsey Gardens. The ground was a smooth cover of mud, snow and the skeletons of grass and weeds from last summer. All in all perfect for my long legged Border doodle ♥. A few people and dogs stopped in to play, sniff each other and move on. Nice interactions, good people from the neighborhood 👍. It seemed very clean but poop could be hiding in unmelted snow ❄ just waiting! I totally recommend the off-leash section of Lindsey Gardens. Plenty of room to stretch out those legs and really have fun. I was there at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. I'm sure it gets very busy a little later. Stay within the boundaries for leash and off-leash areas and please, please clean up after your dog....

Very beautiful park. Has restrooms and cool playground but has very limited handicap access. Had kids play a few ballgames here this spring. One player has a dad in a wheelchair. Made it very difficult to help get him in and out because of steep hills and narrow sidewalks. His chair slipped down the hill after one game-very scary! My own grandma came, and because the sidewalks are narrow, she stepped aside to let someone pass and missed the edge of the walkway and fell down a steep slope. The upper ball field is completely inaccessible for people like my grandma and this dad. We were lucky our game wasn't scheduled up there. The city would do well to put in handicap accessible sidewalks to all the ball fields so everyone can enjoy the...
