This is a much larger park than expected. The entrance isn't well marked especially if you haven't been here before. We just moved to the area and wanted to check out the nearby parks. There are at least three distinct and separate playgrounds for kids and many picnic tables, some in pavilions and many others scattered throughout the rest of the park. We visited on a Friday evening and there were only a couple of other people in the park. The initial appearance made me wonder if the park was abandoned or not being up kept at all but walking around it does seem to be taken care of but certainly in need of updates, renovations and paint. I'm not quite sure why this hasn't happened since it is such an elaborate park. Maybe someone gave a great deal of money to create the park but there wasn't enough planning for how to take care of it long-term. I have no idea. But the park is unique and peaceful and has really beautiful trees throughout that also provide lots of shade. There is a volleyball net in the sand and walking trails. The park also appears to have restroom facilities but we did not use them so I can't attest to their cleanliness. I'm excited to spend more time here especially when the weather is cooler.

Unfortunately, they have really let this place go downhill, they have taken out several things that used to be here when I was a child and when my children were little. The bathroom did not have running water at the sink. Other than that, I had a great time with my family, still nice to look at for the most part.

Saw this on Google maps as my daughter was asking to go to a park. It's brilliant, plenty shaded areas for us foreigners to hide from the sun. There was only another couple of kids there which I found strange! Loads parking, seats, slides etc and green spaces.

Growing up, I never really had anything against this park, but I can recall the most recent trip we've made here and now I despise it! Starting off with the pros: it's up on top of a hill so you have a pleasant view of hills and other nice scenery. Cons? Music is terribly loud, once you think you've got the chance to enjoy mother nature you absolutely can't stand the fact that you'll get quickly interrupted by a loud bass! That's just the beginning... of the beginning. After a good amount of walking through the park, there was a giant hole that I tripped over. Sure it sounds hilarious, but I sprained my ankle; they need better management, dontcha think? Sadly I've tried to enjoy the scent of the wildflowers that grow in the area, but they eventually die; it smells like trash cans in the areas crowded with trees (which disguises the flowers scents) and people throw soda and fruit punch inside the creek. People here clearly don't respect nature and newer rules should be regulated at this park. Otherwise, I will NOT be returning...

I like to go to the park in the afternoon with my child and my dog, they love playing and running. Few weeks ago I noticed that there was a black jeep arriving around the time I was there with my kids, but did not pay attention bc I thought well there is more people coming to the park and have fun...but this is not the case. This person never leaves the jeep, but instead parks it with its engine still running..after 24 minutes of being there this person slowly drives the car less than 5 mph heading towards the back entrance of the park, and what gets my attention is that keeps driving the car super slow on that back road, as of he is looking for someone or trying to do something. I got scared this Wed bc I was playing as usual with ny kid and dog and I saw it was a man with a special tag on his frontal mirror and he kept looking at me, I was talking on the phone and I could not take a pic of his plate. Thanks God I was not alone in the park like the other day I saw the same jeep. Not going back to the park...
