Review of Stone Oak Park North Trails Stone Oak Park North Trails is an absolute gem for outdoor enthusiasts! Nestled in what was once a 245-acre ranch, this park perfectly blends the natural beauty of the nearby Hill Country with the comforts of a well-maintained neighborhood park. Whether you're into biking, hiking, walking, running, or bird watching, there's something for everyone. The park offers different types of trails — from paved paths to more rugged dirt trails — catering to both beginners and experienced adventurers. It's also a fantastic spot for dog walking, with dog waste bags and trash bins conveniently placed throughout to help keep the park clean. The scenery is breathtaking, with native plants, rolling hills, and plenty of shade along the way. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal place to unwind and connect with nature. Whether you're out for a casual stroll or pushing yourself on a run, Stone Oak Park North Trails delivers a perfect outdoor experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country without venturing too far from the city!

Went to this park for the first time! The landscape is really nice! There were lots of flowers and we saw some deer 🦌 as well! The park is not very big but I would love to go back there! The park looked very natural and you can go there just for a small walk as well. Overall it felt pretty nice to me!

I go to Stone Oak Park a few times a month. I love it. There are several trails to choose from. You can choose to go on the normal paved trails or break off and go into the unpaved trails. Normally, I'll go off the paved trails so my dogs can have a blast running around. A big plus is that a large portion of the paved trails are covered by trees, so you get lots of shade as you're walking/running. If you have kids, there is a nice...

Lots of potential if they could repair the damaged trails (severely cracked asphalt in most places, heavily worn). Still a neat place to check out, especially if you hike down to the bear cave (that you’re technically not supposed to hike down to or climb in). Looks like good climbing though... and it’s a neat...
