This was the perfect hike for me and my friend on a Saturday afternoon. This was her first hike post-implant removal surgery and she was happy to be outside in the sunshine. When we started down the North Fork road we didn't know it would take us all the way to the beach, I have only done the top area to Guy Fleming Trailhead, so we were a little surprise when we realized we would were headed to the beach meaning we would also need to climb back up. But putting our feet in the water, getting our pants a little wet, it was all worth it in the end and we rewarded ourselves with Fish Tacos from the Brigantine after our Saturday sweat. Hike number 107 of my 108 goal, and I was happy to be able to show my friend a little magic...

This is an excellent trail for running while enjoying fantastic views of the coastline and Pacific Ocean. As you get out closer to the edge you have a great vantage point to see whales, and dolphins. The park services did an excellent job of renovating the entire trail over the past few years. Get out and enjoy this coastal walk, it is worth...

The trail itself is pretty average thru talk brush and typical coastal desert shrubbery but the split off to the broken hill overlook above the badlands section is amazing and then the trail meets with the beach trail down to flat rock and it’s really cool down there...

This is an excellent trail for running while enjoying fantastic views of the coastline and Pacific Ocean. As you get out closer to the edge you have a great vantage point to see whales, and dolphins. The park services did an excellent job of renovating the entire trail over the past few years. Get out and enjoy this coastal walk, it is worth every minute.
