It's what is expected on crossing. 3 hour wait. The reason for my 1 star review is the manners of the agent. My wife goofed up and lost my passport. I had my real ID. I have had extensive background checks for my prior service clearance. While on wait, the agent desides to take Personal hits on me. I'm prior service airforce i told him. and he said I should be ashamed of myself Wow, along with comments on getting my life together, as I left. And why did I go on vacation to a 3rd world country? It was upsetting to my wife, and I didn't talk back, or make comments. I kept quiet. In my defense I definitely have my life all together will my family and established business. I dont have any resistminet towards anyone. Since it's his world at the moment and he has the authority to deny entry. But never did I disrespect my fellow citizens (civilians)when I was in the service. What for. This happened. August 11, 8pm lane 3rd...

This is definitely less busy than going to through the San Ysidoro crossing. This is a wild chase to find the regular line. It’s definitely worth it to have Global entry to avoid these shenanigans. You can wait sometimes 2-3 hours or even longer. The lines for the regular entry are moving slow. There is confusion where you catch the line that leads to entry point. You need to catch Blvd. Alberto Limon Padilla. Stay on the right lane. The right lane might be very long and turns on the final lane that leads to the border and that’s Blvd. Garita de Otay. There is a sign and a tire shop at the corner. But typically there is a long line that wraps around to Alberto Limon Padilla. There are many street vendors, there is one restaurant to the right, and many places to use that you can pay to use the bathroom. It’s really crazy, no need to...

Every one star review is true. Sometimes they are fast but today they only had centri and ready lane open which ready lane had to take all traffic walking pedestrians too. It took an hr to cross and at one point CBP officers closed the gate for 10 minutes and just left. Also I wished I had taken the CBPs name down was being extremely rude to the centri people in the other lane. If you don't like your job go find another one. Don't go on the website it's all useless information I've never seen 6 lanes open at all, max just 3 lanes. Being understaffed is the problem here because when the agents are overwhelmed with so many people is when they can get sloppy at their jobs and not protect the border how...

This is the worst port of entry. I heard from a few people that this port entry was faster than San Ysidro and took a chance. HUGE mistake. I googled the wait times and according to the website I used, the wait was about an hour. Come to find out, I was in the regular lane and not in the ready lane. The regular only has ONE port open. The ready lane only had two. It took me over 5 hours to cross over to the US on a Saturday at 11pm. Avoid this entry because it looks like its common for them to only open up one lane.

How come there’s like at least 15 “lanes” but they’re always closed?! Like 3 ready lanes and 1 regular lane almost all the time! You always see on the news how there expanding the lanes and opening more, NOT TRUE! Instead of focusing on the other side and wasting money on all these border patrol people they should focus on their border for their tax paying citizens and work on reducing wait times and actually putting these border patrol agents on and opening the lanes!!! Are those just extra for decoration?!
