University Gardens Park ( Dinosaur Park) — Attraction in San Diego

This is a nice little Park in University City. It is a smaller Park so when there is a baseball game or soccer practice going on it takes up a lot of the grass space. I let my dog run around the outside of the perimeter fence at this park. There's bushes so he can chase rabbits and lizards. He's not supposed to be off leash but I can't do that to him all the time. Typical park in the middle of a neighborhood. It does offer a baseball diamond, a good playground, two very basic bathrooms, and space for a soccer field. The parking is simply insufficient for the average ball game. When two teams and their parents show up, all of the cars spill out onto both adjoining streets. The grass is very well kept, and mowed, and mostly free of any kind of weeds or brown patches. I did not see if there is a water...

It's not a large park but it is flat enough for those who may have mobility limits to get around. This is helpful for those who may be in a wheelchair to enjoy this tree lined park on the edge of a large canyon.
