Grew up comming here, theres a few different entrances and exits. I'm not sure the total miles of the full loop it's decently long. The terrain isn't terrible except a couple areas. Starting by via Verde/ the freeway is harder because its a major slope. The parking lot that's down valley center is easiest I think. You can go either direction and walk back. The water level got higher last year but continues to go back down again. When I was a kid you could swim in this part with a swing. It's no longer safe or sanitary....
Read moreThis trail hides society pretty well. The landscape makes you feel like you are in Jurassic Park at times. At some points you are at the back of some large houses but it hardly takes away from the scene. Unfortunately, there is some graffiti at some spots (if you can call it that). About every half mile on the trail you have to cross the stream which kind of adds some fun to it, however, makes it a bit difficult to have a decent run.
