🌿 Walnut Creek Trail

Monday, September 29, 2025 Parking Lot 1: 1079 S San Dimas Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773 Parking Lot 2: 1238 Stonehenge Dr, San Dimas, CA 91773-3843 I arrived at Parking Lot 1 around 4:00 PM. There weren’t many spots—only about ten in total. When I got there, only three cars were parked, but by the time I returned, it was almost full! At the entrance, a sign warned about rattlesnakes and a type of poisonous plant in the area. 🐍🌿 After walking for about half an hour, I passed Parking Lot 2, which had a few more spaces. I kept going and crossed the creek about ten times along the way. I was wearing sandals, but if you wear sneakers, they will definitely get wet! 💦👟 Eventually, I reached a road blocked by a log with “Over” written on it, so I turned back. I’m not entirely sure if I was on the right path, but I just followed the trail as far as it went. I took my time, stopping often for photos—the whole walk took about 2.5 hours. Without stops, it would probably take around 1.5 hours. Since it was a Monday, the trail wasn’t crowded. I passed about ten people in total. At first, hiking alone felt a little spooky, but once I saw other solo hikers, I felt more at ease. The whole path was shaded and peaceful, with the sound of the creek flowing nearby. The wind rustled through the trees, and sunlight sprinkled through the leaves—it felt really special. 🌳💚 I made it back to the parking lot just in time to catch the last bit of sunset—so beautiful! 🌇 Have you hiked Walnut Creek Trail?
