Quite far from the city or town. It is a peaceful place. Not many visitor I've seen. A historical location of early colonial settlers in the then Mexican Texas. One of the cottages is still preserved, however, stays locked for good reason though. It was a pleasure reading the information board that shows you maps, paintings and gives you historical information. The best time time to visit would be anytime in the winter.
