San Dieguito River Park - Santa Fe Valley Staging Area — Attraction in San Marcos

The Santa Fe Valley Staging Area is a moderately sized gravel parking lot designed to accommodate cars, SUVs, and pick-up trucks. It may not be suitable for truck and horse trailer combinations. This staging area serves as an access point for both the Del Dios Gorge Trail and the Santa Fe Valley Trail, which are integral parts of the San Dieguito River Park’s Coast to Crest Trail system. There’s a small little parking area for cars no Porta potty or restroom area at this location although I think depending on where you pick up this path, you might find it. This one was nice and that it has pretty decently groomed paths, although rocks, loose rocks, and uneven terrain exist so if you are unsteady in your walk or your run, you might want to try a different area...
