Goli — Restaurant in San Marcos

Fantastic place with unbeatable views of the Santa Fe Valley and immaculate landscaping all around the property!! A good friend of mine is one of the owners, and I can assure you they truly care about the food and are INCREDIBLY dedicated to always improving. They only use fresh ingredients and are constantly coming up with new pizzas and dishes. Plus, the prices are very reasonable when compared to other places in the surrounding area.

I'm vegan, so sometimes it can be hard to find a good pizza place that has tasty plant-based options, but Goli does not disappoint! The hummus pizza is my favorite thing! I always get it and force my friends that I bring with me to try it because it's LIFE-CHANGING!! (and so far, they all have agreed with me!)

All the beer they offer is always ICE COLD and the mixed cocktails are made with care and even have awesome glasses with ice that do cool tricks! HUGE selection of wine and hard liquor.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with fantastic weather year round makes this a great place to come and break bread for families, friends, and business gatherings alike. They also have a kid's menu with some great choices on it too! All the staff are very friendly and really know how to take care of you.

Parking is always easy to find, and you can feel safe knowing your car is protected since the whole area is well maintained and secured.

We decided to go do....Karaoke...but Goli was across the plaza so, we went there! It was MNF and there were TV's EVERYWHERE, big and small, you could watch the game from every seat in the house... even if you sat outside or walked around the.... roundabout! For some unknown reason, maybe because it was the Night Before Halloween....there were no guests in the house:(. Alas we had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere, the ambience, the Halloween decorations, and the staff, everything was first class.

You would think such a place in RSF would charge you an Arm n a Leg:) but that was not the case...we ordered pizza and expected a small individual pizza....well it was far from small and far from individual! And the price was in line with any other eatery in San Diego County!

Goli is off the beaten road but my feeling is that very soon you will not be able to do what we did ...just walk in and find an open seat at the bar...give 'em a try, you will be...

The location of the restaurant is fantastic and it has outdoor seating with awesome views. The interior design is modern and clean and most importantly they have clean bathroom. Our server was a super nice and sweet young girl named Talia. She was very polite and patient with our large group and did an excellent job taking care of the orders and special requests. Now let’s talk about the food. I chose the build your own pizza option and ordered 12” thin crust which was $14 and each toppings was $2 for the total of $25. Considering the location the price was reasonable but my problem was the taste. It was totally bland and tasteless. The pesto sauce as base was minimal, the shrimp was not seasoned at all, and the onions were raw which was unusual. My friend also mentioned that her pizza had lack of flavor. I still recommend this restaurant because of the nice owner, attentive staffs and beautiful ambiance, but the food needs...
