Weddings at Twin Oaks Golf Course — Attraction in San Marcos

I got married at Twin Oaks Golf Course on 8/21/21. This is a FANTASTIC venue with beautiful views. I toured a few wedding venues after I got engaged at Twin Oaks was the clear standout. This venue is a true hidden gem. From the stunning mountain views, beautiful white roses, and breathtaking greenery it will give you the wedding pictures you dream of. You will also get a lot more bang for your buck at Twin Oaks Golf Course. We were able to have the best dinner buffet package and a full open bar which would not have been the case at other venues with our budget. This place is affordable, but gives you the 5-star garden wedding experience. The food is also DELICIOUS. We were blown away at our tasting of how good the food was. Our guests had the biggest compliments to give to the chef on the day of the wedding. The pork loin, chicken piccata, and prime rib are to die for. Twin Oaks Golf Course biggest asset is their catering manager Jill. Jill blew us away right from the start on our tour of the venue. Jill is incredibly professional and accommodating. She worked with me on postponing our wedding due to Covid and helped rearrange the layout multiple times when guests were dropping out (even on the day of). She is always there to answer any questions or concerns you might have. She was quick to respond to emails and was very courteous! The venue has been newly renovated with new paint and flooring that we were very impressed with. They took great care of their facility. With all that being said, my only couple of negatives in this whole 2-year planning process happened on the wedding day. We asked for a few specific things in their getting ready room/clubhouse that were not delivered (coffee, orange juice for mimosas, cheese for the meat and cheese board). Also, the fire in the fireplace that was burning the night of the wedding was way too smokey. We got a few complaints from our guests to put the fire out, but at the point we were told it would make it worse. So, if you’re having a summer patio wedding, I would reconsider having the fire on. All in all, these were just a couple of small things, but everything else was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Twin Oaks Golf Course as my wedding venue. It was the perfect spot to celebrate the best day...

Twin Oaks Golf Course was a dream!! We literally could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. Twin Oaks Golf Course was actually the first wedding venue we visited. After every other venue we toured, we just couldn't stop thinking about Twin Oaks Golf Course. That's when we knew it was the place where we wanted to say "I do"! The venue itself is absolutely stunning from the lawn to the fireside patio to the ballroom. We held our ceremony outdoors on the lawn, our cocktail hour on the fireside patio, and our reception in the ballroom. This layout worked out perfectly for our April 2025 wedding, and every part of our wedding at every spot was so beautiful. Not only is the venue so amazing, but so is the staff! Nicole was truly wonderful during our whole wedding planning journey. We had so many questions to ask, and she was always happy to answer all of them. She was always so friendly especially when we visited the venue to talk wedding details, and she even stopped by the bridal suite the morning of my wedding to greet me a happy wedding day! I cannot thank her enough for all her help and attention to detail leading up to our wedding! Daniel and the rest of the staff working on the day of our wedding was absolutely amazing as well! They were always checking in on my husband and I throughout the day, making sure that everything was going perfectly. We felt so taken care of the whole day. The bartenders were so incredible too! We got a lot of compliments from our guests saying they loved the bartenders, and how nice they all were! The team at Twin Oaks Golf Course is more than a bride and groom can ask for on their wedding day! They truly did everything to make our big day so special for us, and I wish I could relive our wedding day to experience the magic of Twin Oaks Golf Course again! My wife and I recently got married at Twin Oaks Golf Course and we loved the location! We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour with an indoor reception, and venue staff were able to make that transition seamless. Nicole was helpful throughout the planning process and was able to get us information quickly when we needed it, especially when we had in-person meetings to tour the venue or do a food tasting. The food itself was great and our guests complimented it as well; staff were also considerate of people’s dietary restrictions and we didn’t hear of any problems with people’s meals. We had a couple guests that used walkers or mobility scooters, and they had no issues getting to their spots in the grass for the outdoor ceremony, or navigating around the rest of the venue during the cocktail hour and reception. Venue staff were very attentive the day of the wedding and did a great job of checking on us and our guests, and we really appreciate them boxing up our meals so that we could take them home with us at the end of the night (and then bringing them out to us as we were leaving because we accidentally forgot them). Some of our guests had to park an RV in the lot during our wedding, and those guests were able to easily coordinate with event staff on where to park and get as close as possible. We especially appreciated that as it allowed our guests to spend as much time at our reception as they could. The only minor issue we ran into during the process was one part of our invoice not reflecting a payment we’d made, but it was reflected on other parts of the invoice and we had receipts from that payment so the issue was resolved quickly.
