When my car got stuck in snow on a small forest road recently, I managed to get through to FS HQ in Sandy telling them my location. Within an hour Officer Mireles had arrived and provided support as I waited for a tow truck to arrive. Little did we know that it would take the truck 8 hours to get there, during which time Mr Mireles stayed close by, was actively helpful and worked many hours of overtime to ensure that I wasn't left alone in the forest, where there was very little cell service. Read moreI visited the zig zag ranger station 12_11_2020 because I had a xmas tree cutting permit for mt hood national forest and asked the ranger for the best place nearby to cut a tree and he told me to drive all the way up to Government Camp (where it was snowing!) and try the area snow park.
