Quiet cottage overlooking the lake, near to many Northern Michigan tourist destinations, relaxing and comfortable amenities. Featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom on Sanford Lake. Only 3 miles from downtown Lake Ann where you can enjoy Lake Ann Brewing, Stone Oven Pizza, Corner Cone and more! www.elevatedpropertymgmt.com/560085/

It's a beach park without a beach for now. The park is open and free to enter. It's being maintained, grass cut, roads cleared in the winter, etc. The spray park has reopened, as of summer 2021. Their is a donation tube near the spray park. Great place to bring children. Swings, slides, pavilions, plenty of room. One of the largest spray parks in the Tri-Cities. And a beautiful setting. Clean, modern bathrooms ( summer only, portable toilet at parking lot off season) Also changing rooms available and concessions. Also a great place to run your dog. The beach area is fenced off, so no venturing out on the lakebed. You can see the Sanford dam from the park, and the new berm installed in 2022. The lake is set to be a " lake" again in 2025. Frisbee golf course too. Kudos to the staff for continuing to take care of this great park. ( I'm getting so used to visiting here for free that it's going to be a shock some day to have to pay again!)

Because its not infected water like other area beaches and the flesh eating bacteria. The water park spray park area is a nice addition. Also the entrance fee is $12.00?!!? Thats a hike since I was there last. We paid 24 for 2 motorcycles with 1 person on each. My kids paid 12.00 for a car FULL of his friends. Idk maybe its just me, just seemed a little steep....

The boat launch facility is not the best as it is shallow and the Beach side of the launch is very uneven and hard to unload and load a boat onto the trailer. The middle of the launch and the side towards the dam are the best sides. It would be best if they would invest in floating docks. Also there are no cleats to tie your boat up to if you are launching alone and there are no post standing above the dock to grab onto when you go to get into and out of your boat. I would not recommend any big boat or any amateur person trying to launch from this site as it is very difficult. if you plan on launching from this park it would be wise to purchase a season pass if you plan on launching more...

My family always buys a season pass to the lake for the summer because it's such an incredible deal. The beach is beautiful and kept clean, the spray park is VERY popular with my boys, the bathrooms are kept in good order, there are a ton of options for places to sit or host get-togethers, and it's not insanely busy. We have so many wonderful memories of coming here is the summers and look forward to making many more. It's the epitome of a Michigan beach summer - pine trees right up to the lovely sand, cool water, and friendly people. I can't...
